Available in limited quantities, every piece of wood has a story to tell and has been salvaged from a variety of interesting buildings including Old Textile Mills, European Barns and historic buildings such as the Allied Bakery.  Each and every plank has been meticulously handcrafted and restored by on-site experts in Green Hammerton located between the historic city of York and spa town of Harrogate. The Main Company celebrates the natural beauty of wood, working hard to preserve and maintain its charm and character, whilst bringing out the stunning patinas and other rustic features. A truly unique product, no two pieces of reclaimed wood are the same, making it bespoke to your space.

With a variety of colours and finishes, there’s a reclaimed wood to suit every space. From Weathered Barn Oak to traditional and rustic pine, we provide a wide range of finishes to complement a variety of spaces to suit your personal style. Reclaimed Heritage Oak – Burnt Grey Oak, a true favourite, this reclaimed wood has been created with alchemy. Hand-applied patinas and reactive stains combine with the old tannins present in the reclaimed oak to give a stunning and unique finish to every plank. Or if you prefer a darker wood, Reclaimed Heritage Chantilly Old Tobacco offers dark and smokey hues running through the old oak creating a truly striking floor. Whether you prefer a modern or traditional finish, Reclaimed Wood Flooring can be configured and finished in a number of ways to suit your environment. Ideal for both residential and commercial spaces, The Main Company’s high quality Reclaimed Wood Flooring has been made to provide a hard wearing surface.

As one of the UK’s largest suppliers of reclaimed timber, The Main Company works to your specification, using state-of-the-art-machinery and an on site kiln to provide the highest quality reclaimed flooring that will stand the test of time. Most of the reclaimed wood is engineered, lamellas are cut from the old oak and cold pressed to sustainable and emission friendly (EC1) birch plywood. The engineering process makes the reclaimed wood compatible with underfloor heating as the engineering process makes the boards up to 80% more stable than solid reclaimed timber. If you have your heart set on solid reclaimed timber this will not be a problem all reclaimed flooring is available in both solid & engineered construction.
